Here are some of the phrases we used at our TapFest event in Essex, UK. We had a wonderful group tap and are all thrilled to be part of this movement for positive change. Video to follow soon.

OUR PLANET IS IN REAL NEED OF A SHIFT IN ENERGY
AND IT CAN START WITH YOU!

1. Take a few deep breaths and take a moment to quieten yourself and make space for your feelings to emerge

2. We’re living in a time of huge changes, some positive, some not so positive. When you tune into that thought, of all the uncertainties, the credit crunch, the global warming, all the wars and conflict, the seemingly all-pervasive doom and gloom, what emotions do you feel?

3. Notice where you feel them IN YOUR BODY, NOTICE WHAT QUALITIES THEY HAVE, and assess their intensity on a scale of 0-10, with 10 meaning very intense

Really tune in to where the feelings are in your body – you might for example have a tight black knot of fear in your stomach and it’s at a 10; or you might have a heavy grey bar of anxiety pressing on your shoulders and it’s a 10++ off the scale – see how it feels for you and make a note. This is so you can track any changes as the tapping progresses.

4. Then tap, accepting yourself with all those negative emotions, and then release them by making some positive choices to shift your energy. There are so many positive things happening in our lives, but they tend to go unnoticed

5. Use the tapping daily to balance your energy and give you some clarity on what’s going on around you.

Anxiety is contagious. Avoid listening to negative people and repeated reports of the same old bad news. Eliminate all sources of negativity, internal and external, as far as possible.

Fear increases when you worry about the past or the future. THIS DAILY PRACTICE WILL HELP YOU STAY IN THE PRESENT – ultimately the goal is to be able to feel calm and present no matter what is happening around you. TAP INTO YOUR INNER STRENGTH, PEACE AND PROSPERITY

KC:
Even though the future is uncertain, I don’t know how things will turn out, and that can be scary, I accept myself anyway and I choose to stay focused on the present

Even though it often seems hopeless, I accept myself as I am, and I dare to hope for a better world

Even though it seems unlikely that peace could come to the world, I choose to be open to the possibility that peace could start with me

EB The future is so uncertain
OE I don’t know how things will turn out
UE And that can be so scary
UN I feel I’m not enough
CH What can one person do to change things?
CB Everyone’s talking about scarcity and credit crunch, wars and global warming
UA And I feel so powerless and overwhelmed
TH I can’t possibly make a difference, it’s just too hard, and it’s too late anyway!

Now take a deep breath and assess your intensity levels again – they might have gone up or down, or they might be the same as when you started. And check in again with where the feelings are in your body.

Then continue tapping as follows:

KC:
Even though I still have some of this fear, I choose to act with courage and hope

Even though I still feel overwhelmed, I choose to meet the challenges calmly and play my part in a positive way

Even though it still seems unlikely that peace could come to the world, I am open to the possibility that it comes from within each and every one of us, and I choose to play my part to the full

EB I accept myself with all my fears
OE And I choose to see things differently
UE I choose to live in the solution instead of the problem
UN I choose to shift my focus to all the good things going on right now
CH In my own life AND in the world
CB They may not make the news so often
UA But I choose to remind myself they ARE THERE
TH I choose to believe we can ALL make a difference

EB I choose to face the future with hope and courage
OE And play my part by letting peace start with me, and passing it on
UE I choose to find hope in forgiveness
UN I forgive myself for living in such fear and anger
CH I choose to find wealth in kindness
CB We CAN all play a positive part in the changes
UA I choose to bring peace along with me, starting now
TH I am so grateful for all the good things in my life, and I love feeling so strong

Take another deep breath, have a drink of water, and check in again to see where your energy is now.

Keep tapping as before until you feel grounded, in balance and at peace. Then send it out into the world!

Use the tapping daily to balance your energy, help you feel more grounded and give you more clarity on what’s going on around you.

Use the tapping daily to keep your energy system clear, the way you use a toothbrush to keep your teeth clean.

Use the tapping anytime you’re feeling angry, upset or agitated in any way – you won’t need to worry about what words to use then, your system will already be disrupted and ready to release!

Try the tapping on anything that bothers you, whether it be physical pain, depression, panic attacks, phobias – try it on everything! You may well be surprised at the results!

THE HIGH NOON TAP

Thank you to all who tap each day at noon, for our global brothers and sisters. On top of our list right now: 

Please hold space and tapping energy for those who continue to suffer in Syria, those rebPalestine and Jerusalem, the troubles in West Africa, the nuclear aftermath that continues in Japan, the slow rebuilding in the Phillipines, conflicts and refugee situations across the world.  

There's never a lack of things to tap for! Worldwide conflicts affect us all, and displace millions.  Natural disasters such as tornadoes, hurricanes, floods and drought also abound, so keep them in your thoughts as well, please.  

When we practice tapping with our global brothers and sisters, we ARE ONE.  Let's SHIFT, together, with one another on behalf of those who cannot - for whatever reason. Thank you!  You may simply want to tap for their grief, healing, and also for the chance to bring peace to themselves and others.  Here in the states, we continue to ask you to tap with us,  using our recent bombing and shooting tragedies in this country, in support of non-violent solutions and better mental healthcare! In times like these, we offer prayers, surrogate tapping and advocacy, using our power to change what is within our power to change -ourselves and one another.
